  • Young Pip, you can inherit a huge some of money and become a gentleman if you come with me and keep your name the same.
  • Pip and Joe go into a parlor with a mysterious man, who is working for an anonymous figure. This man has some huge news.
  • Congrats Pip
  • Congrats on gaining this wonderful opportunity
  • This whole situation makes me upset to leave
  • Pip and Joe return to Joe's forge. Pip breaks the awkward silence by telling Biddy what just occured.
  • Pip goes to his room alone to think, but hears Biddy and Joe on the Balcony.
  • The future looks bright, but do I really want to leave?
  • I'm really gonna miss Pip.
  • The next day Pip goes on a walk and thinks about the "poor creatures" of the town and their future.
  • Shall I send the townspeople gifts in the near future?
  • Pip goes to Mr. Trabb's store to get a suit. Mr. Trabb treats Pip extremely well and verbally abuses his assistant in Pip's presence. This showcases the vast power of wealth in the story.
  • Why thank you, I'm looking for a great new suit to start my new life.
  • Welcome to this fine store Mr. Pip, if you need help with anything just ask.
  • Pip has to leave, but in turn tells Joe he cannot walk him to the carriage due to difference in class. Pip becomes very sad once he gets in the carriage.
  • I'm sorry Joe, but you can't escort me. This is the last time we will see each other for a while.
  • I should have let Joe walk me to my carriage..
