Math- pythagorean theorem
This storyboard does not have a description.
Can my triangle fit in this box.
The square is 24x12.
Well, if you have the lengths of the square you will know what to compare to.
Now you need to find the area of the triangle.
But, I only have the measures for one leg and the hypotenuse.
Then you need to do the Pythagorean theorem
For Pythagorean theorem, since you only have the hypotenuse and one leg, you need to square each length and subtract the leg length from the hypotenuse length and the find the square root of that number.
Then the other leg length would be 12, because my hypotenuse is 25 and my original leg length is 9.
