Hi! My name is Randy the Raindrop. Today I will be teaching you about my journey through the water cycle!
First, the sun's rays heat up the water. Then, the water evaporates. Evaporation is when water turns into a gas called water vapor and rises into the sky.
The next step is called condensation. Condensation is when the water vapor turns back into liquid water.
Next, we have precipitation. Precipitation is water that falls from clouds onto the Earth's surface. During precipitation, some of the water can get absorbed by the soil and almost repeat evaporation again. This is called transpiration
Lastly, we have runoff. Runoff is when the water flows back into the ocean.
That is all for today, I hope that everyone enjoyed and had a fun time learning about the water cycle!
