Conflict: They feel weird spirits in the house and Roderick is physically ill.
Rising Action: 1. Roderick Usher asks the narrator to visit 2. The narrator notices strange things in the house. 3. Usher is scared of the house 4. Lady Madeline is found dead 5. Usher buys a tomb 6. Usher told the narrator he heard Madeline trying to escape the tomb.
Climax: When Roderick tells the narrator "we have put her living in the tomb!" A few days before, Roderick's instability has stayed the same and Madeline's health was on the verge of death. They were both frightened by noises they heard.
Falling Action: When Roderick is falling to the floor dead in his sister's arms and his own flight from the house of Usher. When he is running from the scary encounter he had, he looks back and sees the blood red moon through the collapsing house.
Resolution: Roderick dies and the narrator flees the scene as the house collapses with Lady Madeline and Roderick inside and there was no sign left of them.
