Chris and Taya found out that their daughter does not have leukemia, which they are happy about. They also found out that she has Jaundice - yellowing of the skin and eyes.

Chris tries to connect with his children and his wife but he realizes that his kids barley know him and him and his wife have issues. After all his time in Iraq, he had lost bonding time with his family.
Chris is happy to be going back, but he wishes he was going to Afghanistan where everything is happening.

Chris sits down with Taya to figure out what they should do about their marriage. Chris realizes that he does love her and he needs her. They agree to go to marriage counseling before Chris leaves again.
