  • "The Tell-Tale Heart" BY: Edgar Allen Poe
  • "Hearken! and observe how healthily -- how calmly I can tell you the whole story". I will describe on how I killed the old man because of the evil eye he had. You may think I am crazy. But my "disease" simply  just gave me stronger hearing.
  • Oh, thank you, I indeed appreciate your kindness.

  • Ahh his vulture eye vexes my blood!
  • The narrator want's to prove he is not mad by telling his story, of how he killed the old man.
  • I can't breathe! The bed is suffocating me !
  • My foresight to hide you under the floor boards will not fail.
  • The Narrator started off by being very kind and thoughtful to the old man for one week straight.
  • When was the last time you have seen the old man ?
  • MY EAAARS! The body is under the floor boards! I KILLED HIM!
  • The narrator stalked the old man for one week straight at midnight when he was asleep in his bedroom.
  • On the eighth night he suffocated the old man by throwing the bed on him, he then chopped him up in the tub, and put the body under the floor boards. 
  • The next morning the police visit him and it goes well, Until he starts to hear noises in his head. It drove him insane and caused him to confess to the murder, and tell the police where the body was hidden.
