  • The Chinese Communist Revolution was led by Mao Zedong in 1949, for which the main reason was the Chinese Civil War which lasted from 1945-1949. Mao's main motivation was to have no social class since he himslef was born into a poor family.
  • Majority part of people were greatly upset with China failing. They were angry because before the Civil War they were suffering but after it started, people were just dying out and all starving.
  • The Revolution was about making the society communist and "The Great Leap". Mao focused on industrializing and improving China from being just a agrarian society, to being a modern and industrialized society. It was a successful economic reconstruction which lasted from 1958-1961.
  • We should industrialize and eliminate poverty.
