  • You should go to the doctor!
  • Ouch my joints have been hurting lately
  • You are one of the 1.5 million people who have RA and your changes are 70% higher because you're female.
  • The cause is still not fully understood. 
  • So how did you get RA?
  • Sally visits the doctor later that week to check out her symptoms. 
  • I'm sure this has caused you quite a bit of stress in your home life as well as economically. How are you doing?
  • Its been hard, but I'm doing okay.
  • The doctor discusses a dietary plan with lots of antioxidants and lots of exercising, as well as physical therapy. 
  • Ouch! My knee!
  • Sally describes that the known uncontrollable risk factors are genetic. The controllable ones are stressful trauma, obesity, and environmental toxins.
  • Its in your hands, take action. 
  • RA can change you life. It can make everyday activities as well as dieting and exercising very challenging. 
  • Although exercise is uncomfortable for Sally, it helps with the flexibility and inflammation in her joints.
