  • In Belfast, Ireland, on the 29th of November, 1898. Clive Staples Lewis (C.S. Lewis) was born. He had a mother named Florence Augusta Lewis, a father Albert James Lewis and an older brother Warren.
  • Warren, meet your new baby brother, Clive.
  • C.S. Lewis attended Oxford University, in England. Then he left to go serve in World War 1
  • I am going to serve my country.
  • WHAT!!!!
  • Hello, you must be my new student.
  • After C.S. Lewis returned from World War 1 , he became an English and literature tutor at Magdalen at Oxford.
  • This is where he met and became good friends with the famous author J.R.R Tolkien.
  • C.S. Lewis later joined many literary circles, but specifically a group called the 'Inklings'
  • This in particular was his focus when writing 'The Chronicles of Narnia' in 1950.
  • In 1931, after considering himself an atheist, found his faith in God. This ended up being a huge impact on his writing.
  • C.S. Lewis Married an American poet and  writer named Joy Davidson in 1956, and unfortunately passed away 7 years later in 1963.
  • He left behind a great legacy.
