Storyboard Text

  • Sure Gwen. Be home before noon tomorrow. I love you!
  • Hey mom! Can I sleepover at a friend's house?
  • Thanks mom! Love you too!
  • Let's party!
  • I have to tell my mom the truth! It is the right thing to do. I will never forgive myself for lying to her.
  • One night, Gwen asked her mother if she could stay at a friend's house for the night. Trusting Gwen, her mother said yes.
  • Mom, I have something to tell you... Last night, when I said I was going to sleep at a friend's house, I really didn't do that. I went out partying. I am sorry for lying to you.
  • Even though Gwen told her mother she was staying at a friend's house, this was not the case. Gwen actually went out to party all night. Gwen lied to her mother.
  • Oh Gwen! Do not worry. I appreciate you telling me the truth. Please, be honest next time! I just want you to be safe. I love you, and I forgive you.
  • The next morning, Gwen felt bad for lying to her mother. Gwen wanted to apologize, and admit her wrongdoing. Gwen knew she could never forgive herself if she did not come clean.
  • I love you mom! From now on, I will always be honest with you.
  • Finding her mother in the kitchen, Gwen decided it was time to tell the truth.
  • Once Gwen finished talking, her mother told Gwen not to worry. Although Gwen's mother was disappointed at first, she was happy Gwen told the truth.
  • After hearing her mother forgive her, Gwen felt great! Gwen knew she did the right thing. Gwen and her mother have never felt closer. Gwen was never going to betray her mother's trust again.
