Gold of Tolosa

Storyboard Text

  • AMAZING!
  • WHAT
  • A gasp comes from the crowd.
  • Our loyal officer Quintus Servilius Caepio, has sent word that the treasure of Tolosa has been found. He says it will be delivered to us, here in Rome.
  • Of course, it must remain a secret.
  • Caepio will have to give us some of this for being loyal to him! The roman people do not need to know of this betrayal though so don't boast to much.
  • Caepio, after taking over the town of Tolosa, finds the legendary treasure. The Gold of Tolosa. It was more gold and silver then even the roman treasury had.
  • Where is our gold!! Did you steal all of it!? How could you
  • Caepio informed the Roman Senate that he found the treasure and will deliver it back to Rome.
  • I have failed Rome.
  • Caepio's soldiers taking the gold and silver to Caepio's family and NOT to Rome.
  • I don't care I will die, my family will be rich for generations.
  • Caepio cried that the gold vanished mysteriously and he was unaware of its whereabouts. He was forced to command the Battle of Arausio to make up for it.
  • I did not steal the gold! I love Rome! It just disappeared without me knowing!
  • Caepio commands the Battle of Arausio. It goes horribly wrong and becomes one of the worst roman battles in history.
  • Although Caepio dies, the gold and silver stays with his family and is eventually passed down to Brutus.
