  • 4,841 crashes in California have been reported that the driver was texting. 
  • Jail or prison time can be given to you if you injure another driver in a car crash.
  • An accident will usually hurt your rates for three years. But after the accidents you'll want to avoid additional accidents or citations for six years.
  • If you are driving and you get an incoming phone call or text message you should pullover to a designated area to answer.
  • Using hands free devices on the road can help prevent a car crash.
