- God-People were traveling to the new land to change the natives believes to Christianity.Glory-Conquistadors came to the new world for the glory,power and pride for their country.Gold-People would travel to the new world to become rich or have financial gain.

- Cabaza De Vaca was apart of the Navarez expedition and was shipwrecked in Galveston Island. In 1536 he arrived in Mexico city telling stories of city of gold Cibola.
- He was the first European to discover the Palo Duro Canyon ,Grand Canyon and the Pacific Ocean. He took over 1000 men on his journey.
- Was a famous french explorer from France and arrived in Matagorda bay.
