King Hamlet backstory part one

The late king Hamlet appears to his son, beckoning him to follow into the woods, sharing the tale of his most vile murder.
"The will of my most seeming virtuous queen. O Hamlet, what falling off was there!"
He details the affair of his wife and his brother and how that may have played into his murder.
"The serpent that did sting thy father's life now wears his crown." (I, v, 39)
The late king tells of how his brother Claudius, of poison being poured into his ear and killing him slowly in anguish.
