- Thor has a hammer (Mjollnir).
- He had a penchant for smashing in the skulls of giants with his magic hammer and The hammer had many marvelous qualities.

- Freyja: pretty, in charge of love, fertility, battle, and death.
- The magic hammer is stolen from Thor, and he can only have it back if Freyja marries the giant.

- A truly courageous act in a society where cross-dressing was considered an outrage against manhood.
- Thor disguises himself as the bride.

- He takes a massive risk which shows that he is brave or he probably cared for Freyja’s safety.
- He travels to giantland, pretending to be the bride.

- Thor’s hammer was significant to Thor.
- He gets his hammer back.

- Thor destroys the giant.
- The giants shouldn’t mess with Thor. “Thor seizes it and destroys the giant in a single blow”. He has good aim or he might just of been lucky
