  • In this scene, Brutus is talking about how everything would be better if Caesar simply just stopped being so powerful. Brutus was an unloyal friend towards Caesar. According to page 21, it states, "Act 2, Scene 1: Brutus: Caesar must be stopped. It's for the general good". This quote shows that Brutus doesn't enjoy the fact that Caesar is very powerful. This is an internal conflict because Brutus has an issue with Caesar but Caesar doesn't know.

  • In this scene, Caesar gets killed and the Romans are mourning his death. According to page 40, it states, "Act 2: Caesar goes to the Capitol, gives a speech, and is murdered". This quote shows that Caesar got murdered after his speech. This is an external conflict. 
  • Calpurnia warned Caesar because she warned him by telling him how she had dreams about how Caesar got killed by the other Romans in the village and they washed their hands in his blood. According to page 36, it states, "She had bad dreams last night. She dreamed that blood poured forth from my statue". This shows that Calpurnia foreshadowed Caesar's death. This is an external conflict because Caesar gets killed later on.
