As the Odysseus and his men are heading for Scylla and Charybdis, they encounter some very stormy weather, and the men get scared, but Odysseus tells them to be brave and helps them.
The Sun God's Cattle
The men are trying to get past Scylla and Charybdis alive, but while they are doing this, Scylla "throws up" into the ocean causing it to boil.
Killing the Sun Gods Cattle
As Odysseus and his men are going near Scylla, she grabs and eats 6 of his best men, and then they were able to escape.
Odysseus and his men land on an island filled with the Sun God's Cattle, but Odysseus warns them not to eat them or they will suffer.
While on the island, the men are running out of food and getting very hunger. So, one day, Odysseus goes away and falls asleep, and while he is asleep, his men kill and eat the cows on the island which anger Helios, so Zeus decides to destroy their ship.
After Zeus blew up the ship, he grabbed a piece of drift wood, and floats for 9 days and somehow makes it past Scylla and Charybdis again. He then lands on Ogygai and the story catches up to where he is now.
