  • The French & Indian War was a conflict between Britain and France.
  • It was a war to decide which nation would control the North Americas
  • Benjamin Franklin proposed the Albany which was a proposal to unify the colonies
  • The Treaty of Paris ended the war in 1763. The treaty gave Britain The Ohio Valley and Quebec.
  • Because of the treaty, France lost all of their territories in North America
  • Britain imposed the Proclamation of 1763 which prohibited colonists from moving west
  • The war cost Britain lots of money so they taxed the colonies, which made them mad.
  • We will now be taxing you!
