  • The slaves have no choice but to work.
  • DON'T STOP WORKING!!
  •  ''The Underground Railroad" wasn't underground or a railroad. It was a passage to freedom for the slaves.
  • Were going to be free!
  • Even thought it was illegal it didn't stop Harriet Tubman from helping the slaves  escape.
  • Guys follow me.
  • Harriet would travel usually at night through secret passages in the railroad. She made 19 trips successfully freeing 300 black slaves. Once they made it into Canada, white people hid the slaves and Harriet in their own homes until they were safe.
  • The slaves jump for joy as they finally arrive in Canada.
  • I'm free!
  • Thank you!
  • Finally!

  • The Underground Railroad was the largest freedom movement in North America. Slavery officially stopped across the United States When the American Civil War ended in 1865.
