  • The Quartering Act
  • The Stamp Act
  • Britain was in debt because of the French Indian war so they taxed American colonies. This started a revolution between colonists and the British.JAYSON CAJEIRA
  • The Boston Massacre
  • The Quartering Act forced colonists to house British soldiers in their homes. This made colonists very upset.
  • The Boston Tea Party
  • People had to pay for stamps on all public and government documents. The colonists began to protest and boycott British products.
  • The Intolerable Acts
  • The Boston Massacre occurred on March 5, 1770.An argument between the British and a local starteda fight. Someone yelled fire and the British started firing their guns and killed 5 people.
  • In December 16, 1773, American colonists boarded 3 trade ships throwing the ships cargo of tea overboard. This happened because the colonists were told to only buy tea from one company and it would be taxed. The colonists revolted.
  • A series of laws to keep colonists in order. Boston Port Act- Boston port was closed until British Company was repaid. MA Govt Act- Replace government officials with British ones. Admin Justice Act- accused royal officials are to be tried in Britain.
