Storyboard Text

  •  Camera: Long shot zooming in towards the girl slowly  Actor(s): Protagonist enters room holding single rose and begins placing it in the vase. Antagonist follows slowly and sneakily with a fierce scowl. He is holding a long chain. Soundtrack: Begins with calm but sad music. Changes suddenly to slow suspenseful strings on the first sighting of the antagonist.
  • Camera: Medium shot montage zooming in on every step the antagonist takes / every image change. Actor(s): Antagonist slams door before protagonist can place the rose in the vase. She turns swiftly knocking over and smashing the vase and dropping the flower. She has a shocked, and fearful expression.  Soundtrack: Low pitched, intense music
  • Camera: Extreme closeup zooming in very slowly but gradually gets faster. Actor(s): Antagonist prepares his chain for his attack. His eyes burn red with rage. Soundtrack: Gradually faster and louder heartbeat. No music.
  • Camera: Closeup shot shaking/earthquake and changing angle as if the audience is struggling. Montage of 3rd person view and the P.O.V. of the protagonist. Actor(s): The protagonists cries for help as she fights and struggles. She is distraught and her facial expressions displays suffering and angst. The antagonist strangles her tightly with a concerned and angry face. Soundtrack: Sharp, high strings and fast bass drums.
  • Camera: Still closeup to the antagonist / long shot of the protagonist and background. Dissolve Actor(s): The protagonist lays cold and dead on the floor as the antagonist exits the room after collecting the girls flower. He has a blank, sad and still angry expression as well as a sense of accomplishment. Soundtrack: Sad, echoing and descending piano accompanied by lower strings and harp.
  • Camera: Medium shot, slowly rotating clockwise and zooming out.  Actor(s): The protagonist remains still on the floor and although she is dead, has an expression of pain and sadness. Soundtrack: Sound of blowing wind and echoing chimes. Sustaining, shrill violin.
