This is a command economy, which can be found in Cuba and North Korea. One advantage of this economy would be the equal distribution of jobs, meaning that discrimination is significantly lower. The disadvantage, however, is that the people don't have say in what they, the consumers, purchase.
This is a mixed economy, which you can find in America, France and the UK. One advantage of this economy is that consumers do get some say in what is sold. A disadvantage is that government can definitely be greedy and corrupt.
