  • What is the day of the dead?
  • Well in case you didn't know it is a holiday that is celebrated from October 31 to November 2  celebrated in mexico.
  • Halloween has different traditions such as halloween you go door to door asking for candy but day of the dead you put pictures of dead relatives and put them on the altar. They try to offer the spirits gifts and celebrate their life. They also have it happen for 3 days straight.
  • In day of the dead they have sugar skulls that they decorate but not to eat people do competitions on the best skull or costume of the dead. First its about the kids with mini skulls and lots of decorations and then its the adults with larger skulls. A tradition they do is put that persons food on the table and the spirits will take the taste out of it.
  • The day of the dead has lots of decoration all over the roads with parades and skulls everywhere and bright graveyards.
