Mr Utterson and Enfield pass a door on one of their walks. Enfield tells the story of the incident he witnessed when a strange man walked over a child.
The Carew Murder Case
Jekyll's will is discovered by utterson, he was having a recurring nightmares of the trampled child, so Utterson is determined to discover and find out who Mr Hyde really is, while he did that Lanyon tells him that Dr Jekyll's experiments are "unscientific balderdash" end.
Jekyll throws a dinner party, after the party ended, Utterson stayed behind to talk to him, they were talking Utterson brang up his will and says he doesn't like it. Jekyll refuses to spill anything. Jekyll makes Utterson promise that he would take care of Hyde if he went missing or died.
Jekyll's maid witnesses Hyde murdering Carew from her bedroom window, she calls the police. Carew had a letter addressed to Utterson when he was killed, Utterson and the police went to Hyde's house where they find the matching half to the stick that killed Carew.
