On day on June 8th, in Apex North Carolina, my friends were fighting more than usual.
When I walked up the driveway they were so into their fight that they didn't even notice me. I asked them what they were fighting about this time, and Laney said Sydney came over even after we had told her not to.
I can only be friends with one of you guys.
Sydney looked like she was going to slap Laney so I stepped in. Sydney slapped me instead. I felt the sting and that's when I knew that there was no way that this could go on.

After I get hit Laney yells Sydney is trying to hit me. I turn to her the red mark was stinging. I was very mad at Sydney for trying to slap Laney and then slapping me instead.
I knew that Laney didn't want to be friends with her, now I didn't either. I had to tell them that I couldn't be friends with both of them.
I made my descion to be freinds with Laney. Laney was very happy to hear that, Sydney was very upset that I didn't choose her for my friend, but I had been friends with Laney longer then I had with Sydney. I learned that you have to choose your friends carefully.
