Storyboard Text

  • I am an igneous rock. My name is Granite . I am made from the magma in the volcano.
  • I have somehow got swept into the ocean. I can feel chips of me breaking away. I am eroding. I am being turned into sediment, many pieces of me have already been scattered. Many of the minerals inside me have been chipped away, leaving me as small pieces of quartz.
  • I am being swept away by the sea as most of me has been eroded. I am meeting many clay, quartz and silt sediments. They are nice.
  • I am buried with the clay and mud. I know that my name is now lost to the waves as a new one floats to me. Quartz. I can feel it is temporary and will change soon though.
  • We, the quartzes, clay, and mud have risen as a new stone. We are now Mudstone. A fine-grained sedimentary rock.
