The Three Witches are evil and have narrow hearts. They have dark thoughts and unconscious temptations to evil. The witches planned what to do with the sailor because of what the sailor's wife did to the first witch, showing their evilness.
King Duncan is very generous and humble. After hearing of Norwegian King betrayed, he still forgive him very easily. This shows his benevolent and being tolerant to others around him.

The witches here met Macbeth and told their prediction of his future. However, Macbeth doesn't believe them, which symbolises their darkness and untrusted.

Macbeth is a very brave and ambitious. What Macbeth react in the world shows he's fearless, which also shows he's violent because he is not afraid of the blood during the war.
For brave Macbeth — well he deserves that name — Disdaining Fortune, with his brandish'd steel, Which smoked with bloody execution,Like valour's minion carved out his passage Till he faced the slave.
Lady Macbeth seems to be a nice lady in appearance. However in reality, she is evil and wicked. After hearing the news of Duncan's visit, she quickly plans how to kill King Duncan for making Macbeth become a new King, showing her real personality.
Lady Macbeth has more power than Macbeth himself. Macbeth thinks that it isn't the right time to do such risk. However, Lady Macbeth thinks this is the perfect time for them to kill King Duncan. After all, she thinks this will benefit Macbeth.
