Storyboard Text

  • The Development of Humans from Paleolithic to the Neolithic Age
  • By: Erin Broecker and Raegan Barden
  • Hey Nel, remember when we had to hunt and gather our food, but then we depleted all of the resources in the area?
  • Yeah, the Paleolithic Age wasn’t so fun. Resources got scarce, hunting was dangerous, and moving from place to place was tiring.
  • Thank goodness we started farming! Planting the seeds from plants gave us crops, which gave us food!
  • Over time, we learned which seeds produced the most crops in the area where we lived.
  • Domesticating animals was also important. Instead of hunting animals, we raised them.
  • We would use mules for labor, and smaller animals like goats for milk and meat.
  • Our creation of a stable food supply was very important, because it gave us one of our major needs for survival.
  • Without a stable food supply, we just may have died off many years ago. I suppose this is very important, eh?
