I am sir Francis Drake I sailed for England in 1577.
My goal was to find the northwest passage and to capture treasure on the Spanish galleon. Circumnavigate the globe.
When we got to Alta California we landed in a bay that would one day be named Drakes bay.
When we got to Alta California we found strange people we called Indians.
These are my accomplishments I robed the Spanish of their gold, I claimed California for England and I was knighted by the queen
One of my many hard ships was that I failed to find the northwest passage so I came home in disgrace.
