- Wow I really learned a lot of new information. I wonder how much information adolescents have about e-cigarettes?
- After noticing the amount of people in my neighborhood who smoke, I decided to study the topic of smoking. However, I couldn't find what I wanted for traditional cigarettes so I switched my topic to electronic cigarettes since they were still being studied.
- Contacting an expert
- Today we are going to learn how to write and send an email to a potential expert so please pay attention.
- After choosing my topic, I spent many days researching at the basic level first, and then I spent the rest of the days researching at a deeper level in order to fully understand my topic of e-cigarettes.
- What are e-cigarettes? What are their causes? What health effects can they cause
- After finishing my research, I was surprised to see just how little I knew about e-cigarettes even though they are considered to be especially dangerous towards adolescents. By me not knowing much information about them, it led me to develop a knowledge gap which was "How much information do adolescents know about e-cigarettes?".
- I remembered that past students have had experts not reply to their emails which made me worried that the same thing would happen to me.
