There once was a beautifully winged girl, and her name was Maleficent. She was born in a forest kingdom, she would grow up to protect that very kingdom. Maleficent fell deeply in love with a boy named Stefan.
As Maleficent grew older she grew stronger. Once she had fully grown up she was the protector of her people, the moors. She fought several battles for them and had won numerous times. But, her protection the moors caused her to gain a target on her back from the king of the Humans.
Maleficent was too trusting of the man she once loved, but after he abandoned her for power for years he came back. She trusted him right away without thinking and let him back into her life. She let her guards down for the man that had kissed her only once then abandoned her.
Stefan, the man who randomly reappeared in Maleficent's life stole her wings. He drugged her and tried to kill her but was unable to, so he ripped her wings off her body and gave them to the king of the humans.
I cannot believe I trusted and stayed with him!
As Maleficent was laying in pain and was watching as the moors were finding her she knew instantly that she should have never trusted Stefan, for he was only there to hurt her and fulfill his need for power.
As the two girls read about Maleficent's story they can't help but wonder all the times they trusted another when they shouldn't have.
