Storyboard Text

  • Hey Joe, just copying this picture for my article.
  • Hey Bill, what are you doing?
  • Uh, what is that?
  • Are you infringing a copyright?
  • Alright, let me tell you. Definitely not going to question the fact that you are still hired despite the fact you don't know this.
  • Basically , copyright protects the rights of the maker of someone's work. You can find out by looking at your computer.
  • Oh, okay.
  • The creator of a work has the rights to use that work for whatever they want/need it for automatically. The @ symbol can be used to help notify that your work is protected by copyright. It's not required, but recommended. You need permission from the creator to: use podcasts, screenplays, etc.Under Fair Use, a work can be used for: commentary, parody, reporting, research, or education.Just because you site work for an essay, you still might need to ask for permission for the owner of the work.If the work is Public Domain (free to use without copyright) than either the copyright has expired or the work hasn't been protected by copyright in the first place.
  • Nope, good day.
  • Okay, thanks. Can I ask why your head suddenly became large in the 2nd panel and why my tie is now red?
