- When Atalants was born her father was very dissapointed.He decided she wasnt worth the time or trouble of raising.He left her on a mountain to die.Then the she bear showed up and raised Atalanta.
- When Atalanta was a young girl she was found by hunters.The hunters liked her and took her in.Eventually Atlanta became an equally great hunter.
- When she was walking two centaurs walked up to her.She did not run from them.She just stood still and waited for them .When they came her at her she shot and wounded one then another arrow shot and harmed the other one.
- There was a famous hunt called the Calydonian boar hunt.It was a creature sent by artemis to ravenge the land and punish the king.It would destroy land and the men who tried killing it.When the king called for help the strong men went on the ship Argo to go their and hunt the boar Atalanta tagged along with them.
- There was a man named Meleager which was Oneuss son and he fell in love with atalanta when he saw her.Atalanta did not see any man as a lover just a comrade.She was also determined to never marry.The men didnt want to go hunting with her but Meleager convinced them.
- When they went hunting they all surrounded the boar but they rushed in and alot of people died but Meleager stabbed the pig in the heart and killed it.The hide was given to atalanta and the family was mad.Althea threw the brand into the fire which caused meleagers death.
