  • Corrupt Government/Propaganda
  • Every person in society looks the same and leads similar lives. People must conform the strict policies of uniformity. Often houses, clothes, lifestyle, beliefs, profession, and relationships are all kept relatively uninformed. In Chapter 1 page 7, Million of twins are working as Gammas, Deltas & Epsilons. This relates to the elements because of the sameness of appearances & rankings.
  • Segregation/Unequal Power
  • Similarly, individuals are not allowed to exercise their free will. Individuals are under constant surveillance and they are punished for indeendent thoughts and action. In Chapter 3 page 32 is it's normal to have erotic play at a young age, but it's not normal to be uninterested. This relates to the element because the kid who doesn't want to play is sent to a psycholist.
  • Perfect Exterior Hides Evil
  • A corrupt leader or government demands to be worshipped & obeyed by its citizens. The government use propaganda to brainwashed citizens to be under their control. Chapter 2 page 20 talks about a negative conditioning when it comes to nature and books.
  • Unexpected Hero
  • The majority of the population lives in the dehumanized state of squalor. While an elite few have knowledge & power. People are segregated into groups with different roles & unequal access to power.
  • The society seems to be a well-inteutioned utopia until an evil truth is revealed.
  • The protagonist is always an unlikely leader of a revolution, lacking obvious strength experience, power, or even values. Yet the unlikely hero discovers the evil truth beneath their reality & decides to rebel against it. They usually struggled with their own conscience & confidence in themselves before thay are able to overthrow or escape their dystopian society.
