  • I believe that Andrew Jackson should not be on the 20 dollar bill.

  • The Jacksonian Democracy was corrupted. The reason why is because it was the idea that common people should control the government. This created executive tyranny to the government. Therefore he should not be on the 20 dollar bill.
  • Spoils System helped Andrew Jackson with his election. The reason that it helped him is because it gave public office to his supporters. This is not good for the Andrew Jackson is because his supporters are never going to tell him if he is wrong on stuff and they will always be biased with Mr.Jackson. For that reason he should not be on the 20 dollar bill.
  • The Indian Removal Act granted land from the south were Indians lived. The Indian Act was that the president had to negotiate with the Native Americans trade their land near the West Mississippi river. The reason why this is a bad law because this makes Native Americans give up their land and they would have to move somewhere else. Therefore he should not be on the 20 dollar bill for that reason.
  • The war on the National bank was a war between Andrew Jackson and the National Bank. The reason why the war happened is because Andrew Jackson thought that the national bank was a threat to him. So he shutdown the bank for no reason. This act was not necessary. This is another reason why he should not be on the 20 dollar bill.
  • States rights was what started the force act. That was passed by congress because of Andrew Jackson. The force act was an act that authorized the use of militarily to any state the didn't follow the tariff act. The tariff act was that you have to pay taxes. This act was unnecessary. This started a civil war. Therefore Andrew Jackson should not be on the 20 dollar bill.
