Alright people lets do this one last time.
To stop the ghost nets from catching fish and hurting them, or worse, people should start using nets with ropes on them. The boaters can hang on them or a machine, so the nets don`t go lost into the ocean.
Summary - If / then & aha! Huh?
The difference is that people would expect the boaters would use technolegy to hang on to the ropes this difference is that they are killing fish and other aquatic animals.
You would think that people would use machines to hang on to the ropes, but nope they think that they can hang on to the ropes pulling the thousands of fish but the rope falls out of their hands and becoming ghost nets.
Trying to save the aquatic sea life, Dr. Eddesmeyer did not give up on the aquatic life because their living just like us. So he gathered a group of scientist to try and gather all the ghost nets and other things that are killing fish.
Because of his goal Dr. Eddesmeyer had a growth mindset because he has spent his hole career trying to make a change and the change that he is trying to make is the aquatic envirement because of the amount of ghost nets and trash that can kill aquatic sealife.
Five themes for the last part of the book are sad, depressing, interesting, questionabal, and fist clutching.
If people knew what was happening to aquatic animals then people would start making sure that they have all their nets. An aha for me in this part of the book was that people are killing thousands of animals with the nets and that they are not making sure they bring up all the nets and a huh for me is that they don`t care about the fish.
