Storyboard Text

  • I'm so nervous. What will she say?
  • I'm about to tell her.
  • What's Palmer doing here?
  • Palmer knocks on Dorothy's door and waits for her to open it.
  • That's it, I'm going to tell Dorothy that I don't want to be a wringer and that I have a pigeon.
  • The door opened with warmth and light washed over him. Palmer is already so nervous, so seeings Dorothy made him even more anxious.
  • I have a pigeon.
  • She smiled, since she was happy to see Palmer. He was relieved to see her happy, it let off some of his stress and anxiety.
  • Palmer did not wait another moment, he decided that he would just go for it.
  • Palmer said it. Dorothy is shocked, but isn't upset or mad at Palmer.
  • They go to Palmer's room and play with Nipper for the rest of the day. They talk about Palmer not wanting to be a wringer and over time, Palmer and Dorothy became close through Nipper.
