  • The Declaration of the Rights of Man is a document for their freedom, and equality. Which contains the words of "equality, fraternity, and liberty."
  • Reign of Terror
  • King Louis was executed because he had abandoned his kingdom so the people saw him as a traitor to France. He was charged with treason and beheaded with the guillotine.
  • Robespierre death
  • Nine months later after King Louis the 16th was executed the Queen of France was beheaded also by the guillotine.
  • Stage 5: Napoleon names himself emperor
  • After the King and Queens death and nobody in control, the government leaders were going to punish anyone that said anything about the Revolution and against them
  • Robespierre was one of the leaders of the Revolution. Whenever Robespierre would accuse someone that they were an enemy to the country were usually beheaded to the point where no one was safe not even the leaders. Robespierre was later found guilty and was beheaded by the guillotine.
  • When the people of France were done done they just wanted someone to take the throne. That's when Napoleon the head of the government came to France and restored order. In 1804 he proclaimed himself as Emperor of France.
