"Tuff enough. Wait till I get out, though, so you can keep Darry off my back. "
"I think Socs and Greasers are separated by amount of emotion."
On page 18 Ponyboy is talking to Soda about Darry and how he yells at him all the time. Pony says "Tuff enough. Wait till I get out, though, so you can keep Darry off my back." He asks Sodapop not to leave until Pony gets out of school. Four of my props are bottle on the street, just street trash.
On page 19 in chapter two, Dally, Johnny and Ponyboy go to a drugstore and bought cokes. Dally steals some bottles of pop from the drugstore. After this in the book Johnny, Pony and Dally all go to the movie at the drive-in. That is where they meet Marcia and Cherry for the first time.
In chapter three after the movie Cherry and Pony are talking about what makes the Socs and the Greasers so different. She thinks that Socs and Greasers are different because of how much emotion they show rather than how much money they have. Ponyboy stated before this that he thought they were separated by how much money they have. Johnny listens quietly while this is happening.
