- a soc tried to drown Ponyboy so Johnny killed him
- ponyboy and Johnny go to a party to find dally to ask him for help after killing a son, dally gives then a gun and clothes
- they went to a abandoned church waiting for dally to tell them what to do next(there sleeping)
- Johnny went to the store and bought food and stuff to disguise them selves, he made ponyboy dye his hair blonde
- Johnny takes them to Darry queen after giving them the note and tells them how the greasers and the socs are at war
