Storyboard Text

  • Expositon
  • Conflict
  • Rising Action
  • Donovan Curtis is a student at Hardcastle middle school. With his "friends" Daniel Nussbam and Daniel Sanderson, he always finds a way to land himself in hot water. His stunts, ADD, and natural impulse to DO instead of think always land him in trouble.
  • The Climax
  • After whacking the Atlas statue with the stick, the globe he was holding rolls off and breaks the schools gym. Donovan is sure he is going to be expelled, but by an accident made by Doctor Schlutz, he is put into the Academy, a place for genius's, and "gifted" students.
  • Falling Action
  •  When all of his teachers know that he isn't gifted, he is forced to re-take the test needed to stay in. Thanks to some unknown hacker, he was able to pass, however, due to Dr.Schlutz realizing his mistake, is still removed from the program. However, the robotics team needs his skills driving and his normality to stay focused and alive.
  • Resolution
  • After being kicked out of the Academy, the Daniels manage to get him to the robotics meet. After seeing the competition cheating, he decides to take control of the robot, and then total chaos breaks loose. They use Tin Man to beat up the enemies robot, and then Noah whacks it with a chair. And after all that, Katie's baby starts kicking and she's about to give birth. They immediately get her into a hospital, where she has a girl.
  • After the carnage that happened at the robotics meet, Donovan gets sent back to Hardcastle Middle School. However, before he goes, he is able to show Katie's husband's dog, Beatrice, giving birth. In another twist, Noah finally got his wish and was expelled from the Academy.
  • It is settled that both Noah and Donovan are allowed to visit the Academy regularly for the robotics team, and Donovan learns how to control his impulsive actions, and how to survive in unorthodox situations.
