Gilgamesh is believed to be 2/3 god and 1/3 human possesses rude traits and behavior. The gods create Enkidu to stop Gilgamesh.
Gilgamesh and Enkidu were fighting because Gilgamesh wanted to steal a bride on her wedding day. Then after a long time Gilgamesh finally won and he forgot about the bride and him and Enkidu became friends.
Gilgamesh and Enkidu go on many adventures they kill the forest god, insult the goddess of love, and kill the great sacred bull. The Gods are displeased and choose to punish Enkidu causing him to become very sick and dying, Gilgamesh is heartbroken and is afraid of death.
Gilgamesh goes out on a long journey to the mountains in order to search for eternal life because he is afraid of dying.
The Gods were mad at the humans because they were always too loud so they caused a huge flood on the city. They realized it was too powerful and ran away from it and after it was all over Urshunabi survived and the Gods gifted him with eternal life.
Gilgamesh still wanted his eternal life so he told Utnapishtim what he can do to have it and he needed to stay awake for 6 days and seven nights but he failed. Then Gilgamesh finds a plant growing under water and it's a flower but a serpent ends up stealing it but Gilgamesh knows to start caring for his people.
