The Manhattan Project was a project to develop a atomic bomb and atomic weapons during ww2. The weapons were used to help end the war. The Manhattan Project also was what set the "atomic age". a new era of war-far weapons.
Japan surrendered!!!
The bombing of Hiroshima was super important to the war because it was the first atomic bomb to be dropped in the whole world. On August 6th America dropped the atomic bomb over Japanese territory. This was detrimental to the war because it was such a huge weapon that that brought so much power to the people that held it.
The bombing of Nagasaki is described as a "terrible human devastation" bomb. The bomb was dropped on August 9th and was also a huge advantage point for the USA. The bomb was specifically dropped on one a Japans biggest gun and weapon factory.
