In may 1944 I was only 14, and I was deported by german soldiers to Dachau.
A SS guard, promised extra food, entering my barracks with a violin, asking if anyone could play. There were three of us who volunteered. The first played well, but our work boss smashed his skull with a iron pipe.
The second was, too scared to play, so was kicked to death right in front of me, and I saw his face he was scared, and felt alone and I couldn have helped him at all.
Then the violin was handed to me. I paused the work boss gripped his iron pipe.Without thinking, I played the Blue Danube this pleased the SS guard. I got the extra ration.
Sandor was liborated in Dachau by American troops.

That is the story of a young boy named Sandor that at age 14 was taken by germans, and deported to Dachau. A innocent man taken to this camp to die though innocent of any crimes. A young boy with a fabulous talent. This young boy got his dreams ripped away for being him at age 14. This child at age 14 was tortured all because he was born into a jewish family. All because this one man though he should be punished for being him. That is one of the saddest stories i've ever herd. This one man was put through hell all because he was him. This is why his story needs to be herd. No one deserves this. We need to know this, so we can learn from our past, and we must learn killing is never the answer. but luckily I think our society can learn fro'm our mistakes, but we shall see it's our choice.
In 1950 Sandor emigrated to the us, were he became a composer and a professional violinist.
