Olivia and Mena are at their first college party, even though they are only 16 years old. The next morning Olivia wakes up at home but she doesn’t rememer how she got there. She had no memory of the night before or the whereabouts of her best friend.
Mena is now missing and her parents are frightened and concerned. They are confronting Olivia with questions that she can’t answer. She can’t remember anything after arriving at the party. A month has passed and Mena is still missing. Although the police have been searching for her, Detective Sanchez reported there were no new leads. Mena's boyfriend Manny, has been trying to help Olivia remember what happened to her and Mena that horrible night.
Olivia is slowly starting to uncover the dark secrets that were related to the party. She starts realizing that she may be placing her trust in the people. Although he has been supportive Olivia starts to suspect Manny as she starts to remember the events of that night. Unexpectedly, Olivia remembers their old hangout since junior high. She followed her gut instinct and decided to go by there. She found Mena there, tied up and apparently drugged. Manny arrives shortly after which causes a big argument with Olivia. He started to become aggressive but Olivia manages to knock him out and escapes with Mena.
After they escape, Olivia calls the police and takes Mena to the hospital. Mena had been stabbed and she was near death. Manny got arrested, and got sentenced to 25 years in jail. Mena was able to have a full recovery and then informs Olivia what really happened that night.
Mena admitted she was cheating on Manny with a boy named Aiden. Manny had found out, and kidnapped her. After tying her up and placing her in his car trunk, he took her to our old hangout. Olivia had been so drunk she didn’t realize Mena was not with her. Many had told her Mena was ok and she assumed it was true.
In the end Olivia and Mena realized they need to be more responsible and not to assume people will always do the right thing. In this case, jealousy and betrayal drove Manny to do horrible things. They also learned that Drug and Alcohol abuse is not a good thing to do.
