Lit Circles 10, The Return
This storyboard does not have a description.
"Food sir, I am hungry."
"What do you want?"
"I am...sob.... your father, Ulysses."
Once Ulysses got home, he rubbed mud all over his face to disguise himself as an old beggar. With mud all over his face, the suitors would barely be able to recognize him as Ulysses.
Disguised Ulysses talked to Eumaeus, a swineherd, about how he has met Ulysses, and will go to the castle and beg. At the castle, Ulysses claims he will get food by telling people about the king. Eumaeus says it will get him killed, because suitors don't want to hear anything about Ulysses.
When Telemachus walked in and Eumaeus told him that the beggar(Ulysses) knew about his father, Ulysses couldn't stand hearing Telemachus calling him a father. Then Ulysses broke down into tears and admitted that he is Ulysses.
"Yes, I promise you. I will teach you everything you have to know. I have come home."
"When I reach my full strength, shall I be able to bend the bow?"
When Ulysses was able to shoot the arrow through all 12 axe-rings and prayed to Apollo, the suitors knew that it was Ulysses. Then, all of the suitors wanted to kill Ulysses, but he started to kill first.
Ulysses killed a lot of suitors by firing arrows, then he threw a few javelins, and then finished them off by throwing a slab of rock at them.
The story ends by Ulysses telling Telemachus, his son, that he will be able to bend the bow and that he has come home.
