Well, fats are also the most intense sources of energy. They transport and store other nutrients, and reconsecrate body temperature. It would do you some good to get fats before competition. Just little bits at a time.

There is fats like hamburgers that stay solid at room temperature, fats like margin that are formed when manufactures turn liquid oils into solid fats, unsaturated fats like nuts, or avocados are liquid at room temperature, and cholesterol that is a white wax like substance that plays a role in transporting and digesting fats. These would be egg yolks and liver.
