  • Hey dad, I still need to decide when i move do i want to live in an unlimited or a limited government. Do you have any advice?
  • Well son, an unlimited government means that the leader can make laws and does not have to follow them, and there are no limits to the ones decisions. On the other hand, a limited government is where the government, or groups of leaders our controlled by law, for example the constitution.
  • For example, if you lived in Algeria you would live in a republic. So this means that you have a right to vote on a representative, and everyone follows the same rules However, if you live in England you would live in a monarchy. This means that the king, or queen would make the laws and doesn't have to follow them.
  • Oh, ok
  • So if I lived in England, and I steal a car the king, or queen would diced my punishment. But if I lived in Algeria, and I steal a car.Representatives would vote on my punishment, so I have a fair trial.
  • Exactly
  • Based on what my dad explained to me,I think I want to live in a republic, because I get to pick who I want to be a representative, and I have a fair trial.
