Principle #1 Genetic variation: is the brown furred wolves and the grey furred wolves.
Principle #2 Overproduction & the struggle for existence: the overproduction is that the wolves go in packs as they all get along the brown and grey furred wolves so they can survive. The struggle to survive situation is when the mountain lions appear because they are hungry and it doesn't matter who it is they are ready to attack and wolves are weaker so it makes it harder to stay alive
Principle #3 Differential survival & Reproduction: The brown furred wolves are stronger and faster than the grey furred and are known to survive or last longer therefore the brown furred wolves have a higer fitness and are most likely to survive an reproduce.
Principle #4 Changes in Gene Pool: The advantage trait of being from the brown furred stock of wolves are more common to survive and have a more of a variety of it's population who survive and reproduce, compared to the grey furred wolves who aren't strong enough or fast enough to survive the vicious mountain lions
