Storyboard Text

  • House on Fire
  • Sasha, Mom and Dad
  • I really want to go to school but we lost everything!
  • The Talk
  • Go ahead honey, we are proud of you. You deserve an education.
  • One week ago, Sasha's house was caught on fire. They were all very devastated.
  • Waiting for Mr. Jones
  • They all had no idea where to go, or what to do. All Sasha wanted to do was go to school, it's basically what she's been thinking about.
  • The Office
  • Sasha, you have missed one whole week of school, this is unacceptable!
  • I'm telling you, I have no transportation and I needed help, that's why I came here!
  • Sasha decided to tell her family that she wanted to go back to school. Instead of arguing with her, they support her. They tell her to go to school and talk to the principal for help.
  • The Office Conversation Continued
  • I will not give you free transportation, it is not my problem!
  • This is unfair! I have the right to receive free transportation!
  • Mom, Dad, I want to go back to school. I miss learning new things.
  • As she waits for Mr. Jones, the principal, to call her name, she hopes that everything goes well.
  • I hope he understands.
  • Sasha thought that she and Mr. Jones were going to have a nice conversation, however, Mr. Jones started to get angry!
  • Mr. Jones gets furious for no reason and says that she will not have free transportation. Sasha gets twice as furious since she knows for a fact that she has the right to receive free transportation if she is homeless.
